Bytecoin is fundamentally an open decentralized cryptocurrency. All the interested individuals can join the Bytecoin network to participate in currency improvement program. Just similar to the internet, Bytecoin is globalized in nature.

BCN offers fully protected transactions throughout the world and avails ease to perform instant free-of-cost transactions. To differ Bytecoin network from Bytecoin currency; Bytecoin currency is referred as BCN. There exist many cryptocurrencies which are based on the BCN technology following different parameters.

If we start from April 2014 then Bitmonero/Monero (XMR) is considered to be most renowned. It was launched on April18, 2014. It introduced untraceable payments, non-linkable transactions and Blockchain analysis resistance.

Then came QuazarCoin [QCN] following Bytecoin and Crytponight technology, launched on May8, 2014. It introduced the same features as XMR. Also facilitated with Multi Wallet Transactions. Another one launched on May17,2014; is Boolberry (BBR) following Bytecoin, Crytponight and Cryptonote technology. BBR introduced with new cryptography based on ring signatures. Along with it, Boolberry availed with the Separated wallet and daemon help improve usability and security, flexible RPC-like network protocol, alerts (signed by developers) broadcast via peer-to-peer mechanism, transaction identification by prefix, wallet addresses aliasing and much more. In May 2014, Ducknote was introduced which was renamed to Darknote in September 2014 and again it was given a new name DigitalNote (XDN) in June 2015. XDN followed Bytecoin and Cryptonight technology. It introduced truly untraceable transactions and encrypted information transfers in decentralized p2p network, blockchain deposits and so on.

AEON (AEON) was launched in June6, 2014 following Bytecoin and Monero technologies. Through AEON, each transaction can be secured with robust cryptography. It uses a cryptographic system to transfer funds and ring signatures to make transactions untraceable. It is considerably different from Moenro offering different proof of work and comparatively fast synching and lightweight transfers.

In July 2014, Dashcoin and CryptoNoteCoin (CNC) launched respectively on 5th and 11th. Dashcoin followed Bytecoin and Cryptonight technologies. Dashcoin’s features are similar to XMR. One extra feature is added to Dashcoin which is signature contains a key image and also it enables automated source code. CryptoNoteCoin (CNC) followed cryptography based on ring signatures like Boolberry (BBR). Other than that it offers egalitarian proof of work, CryptoNight hash function i.e. designed for egalitarian GPU & CPU mining. CryptoNoteCoin intelligently adjusts its parameters based on the historical data.

DarkNetCoin (DNC) which was launched in October13, 2014 offered exactly same features as Boolberry (BRR). There is no difference in technology followed or features proposed between DNC and BRR. The only noticeable difference can be seen in block time. Block time considered by DNC is 60 seconds whereas in case of BRR, it is 120 seconds.

Red Wind (RD) came in existence on December25, 2014. The purpose of the Red Wind cryptocurrency is to unite all specialists who want to colonize Mars to develop and acquire necessary technologies, create protocols and obtain the resources (Establishing the Mars colony).

Pebblecoin was launched on January1, 2015 to find market statistics and to make the use of cryptocurrencies easier.

In 2015, Tavos came in existence, offering specifications; proof of work as well as proof of stake. It follows Cryptonight technology.

MonetaVerde (MCN) was launched on January5, 2017 on the basis of Bytecoin, Cryptonight and Cryptonight Pow technologies. The uniqueness is that it allows creation of infinite coins.
